Altruiss is a secure pet health app that allows you to store, organise, and access your pet's medical history in one place. It helps you manage documents such as vaccination certificates, lab reports, and clinical records, and makes it easier to share this information with veterinary clinics or other providers when needed. Altruiss also provides a structured Treatment History to help you better understand your pet's care.

No. Altruiss is not a veterinary clinic and does not replace professional veterinary care. It is a record-keeping and sharing tool designed to support better communication and continuity of care between you and your vet.

Veterinary clinics typically own the original medical record they create. As a pet owner, you generally have the right to request a copy of your pet's records. Altruiss stores copies of records that you upload or that are provided to you at your request. • Clinics retain ownership of their original records • You control access to the copies stored in your Altruiss account • No one can access your records unless you choose to share them

Altruiss gets your pet's medical history by you requesting it directly through the app — Altruiss never accesses clinic systems or retrieves any data without your permission. Here's how it works: 1. In the app, tap “Request History From Clinic” on your Profile screen. 2. Enter your vet clinic's email address, and the request is sent to the clinic on your behalf — with your consent included. 3. The clinic responds to us with your pet's clinical history documents. 4. These documents are securely stored in the Profile section under “Clinical Documents”, where you can view, share, or manage them at any time.

Clinics have the option to make clinical documents viewable or not viewable to owners, due to the potentially sensitive nature of medical records. Even if you can't view the documents yourself, they can still be shared with other veterinary clinics whenever needed — so continuity of care is never affected. And even when clinical documents aren't viewable, you still have everything you need: • Your Treatment History document • The Certificates section Clinical documents contain complex medical note-taking that is intended only for other medical professionals. That's why we create the Treatment History document for you — so you can see everything clearly, in language that's much easier to understand than the original clinical records.

A Treatment History is a simplified, easy-to-read summary of your pet's care, created by Altruiss so you can understand everything clearly — without having to interpret complex clinical notes. You'll find it on your Dashboard, alongside your Reminders and Certificates. Your Treatment History includes: • Your pet's recent care • Upcoming health reminders (which you can create in the Reminders section of the app) • Current medications It's designed to help you stay on top of your pet's health at a glance. Your Treatment History does not replace the original clinical records.

The Certificates section keeps your pet's most important certificates — such as vaccination certificates and desexing certificates — separated out from the clinical documents for quick, easy access and sharing. You'll find it on your Dashboard, alongside Reminders and Treatment History. Often you only need to share a single vaccination certificate — for example, for boarding, pet stays, or grooming. Keeping certificates in their own section makes it much easier to share exactly what's needed, without digging through full clinical records.

The Reminders section is where you can keep track of any reminders or tasks that need to be done for your pet — including the ones that come up in your Treatment History document, such as an upcoming vaccination or booster. You'll find it on your Dashboard, alongside Treatment History and Certificates. To create one, tap “Add reminder”, choose your pet, give the reminder a title (for example, “Rabies booster”), pick a reminder type — such as Vaccination, Flea Treatment, Worming, Medication, or Vet Appointment — and set the date and time. You'll then be notified when the reminder or task is due, so nothing gets missed.

Yes. All original veterinary documents are stored separately as Clinical Documents. These are: • Read-only • Stored exactly as received • May contain technical or clinical language A notice is shown before viewing to help you understand that these documents are primarily written for veterinary professionals.

Yes. Altruiss is built with a strong focus on security and data integrity. We: • Use encrypted storage • Store veterinary records as read-only • Do not allow records to be edited or altered • Clearly separate owner notes from clinical records • Only allow sharing when you initiate it This protects both you and your vet by maintaining accurate and trustworthy records.

Yes. You can choose exactly what to share, including: • Full medical history • Individual documents • Vaccination certificates • Registration documents • Photos or notes This gives you full control and prevents unnecessary sharing.

Altruiss may use AI to help organise and explain information. AI features are: • Informational only • Not veterinary advice • Not a diagnosis or treatment recommendation Always consult your veterinarian for medical decisions. You remain responsible for how you use any information provided.

At this stage, Altruiss may provide suggested reminders within your Treatment History. Automated reminders and notifications are planned for future updates.
