Altruiss was created by a veterinary nurse with over a decade of hands-on experience across clinics in both Australia and England.

After years of working on the clinical side, I kept seeing the same pattern from every angle. Pets arriving at new clinics, emergency hospitals, or specialists with no history to work from — and with every missing record came repeat tests, delayed treatment, and hours of staff time spent chasing information that already existed somewhere else.

On the other side, I watched pet owners trying to do everything right — and being shut out of their own pet's medical information. Records that could only be sent between clinics. Documents full of clinical language no one had ever explained. Owners arriving at appointments unable to recall what was said last time, because the system was never built for them to follow along.

The gap wasn't a small one. It sat in the exact place where continuity of care should have been — between clinics, between visits, between a pet and the next chapter of their life.

Altruiss is built to close that gap from both directions. It gives owners a secure home for their pet's medical history and a way to actually understand it. It gives veterinary teams a cleaner, faster path to the records they need — without adding to their workload or compromising clinical integrity.

I've sat on both sides of this. I know what good clinical care looks like when the information is there, and I know how quickly it falls apart when it isn't. Altruiss is the bridge I always wished existed — for the clinics I worked in, for the owners I helped, and for the pets in the middle of it all.
